1. The main functions of Tourism/Hospitality Industry in Jakarta, such as:
1. Economy Aspect

The first one is Tourism and the second income of Indonesia is from devisa. Many people from all around the world comes to Indonesia or jakarta for many purposes, such as business, leisure or even education, and etc. WTO (World Tourism Organization) predicts that the amount of people who do the travelling will increase 3 times untill 2020. That is why, tourism/hospitality industry will grow to be the biggest industry in the world.

2. Human Resources

For example, a hotel must need thousand of employers, so it will give advantage to our human resources.

3. Physical & Spiritual Recovery

In order to human’s level of busyness in daily life, this time, tourism is one of the needs for physical and spiritual health’s recovery. For example, people go to recreation park for some fun.

4. Supporting Facilities

This aspect is special leaning to hotel accomodation. People doing business to other country or out of their town must need an accomodation. At this rate, tourism and hospitality also take part for the supporting facilities for such business.

2. The scopes for Tourism Industry in Jakarta are:
1. Food and Beverage Management.
2. Front Office Management.
3. Housekeeping Management.

5. And other relation to Business Management, such as: Accounting, Marketing, Finance, etc.
